Where Heat Meets Heritage and Flavour Tells a Story

Peri Ben was officially launched in 2020 after a Peri Peri recipe was handed down to me from my late father whom received it from my grand father Johannes Gerdener Grove wo as CEO of SAA traveled the world as CEO and got the recipe from a market in Lisbon. The demand grew from cooking in a 5lt pot on my grannys kitchen to cooking batches of 60lt in a fully operational kitchen with a Certificate of acceptance.

This recipe is the basis of all my chilli sauces boasting with various awards the last 2 years from best tasting to hottest sauce. I pride myself by not using any artificial preservatives except salt and vinegar and no colourants added.

These sauces are homemade craft sauces boasting excellent flavour and adds a punch of flavour to any occesion wether its at a braai. Smoking meat or cooking indoors. My Portugese marinade and basting sauce was handed to me by the late uncle Manny whom entrusted me to take his legacy forwrd. Its a uncooked sauce boasting tons of flavour as only a uncooked sauce can deliver.

I also started the Gooi Pa range of spices and condiments a year ago. All products a meticulously hand picked by myself and also imported from all over the world. All blended by myself to give you a unique boost of flavour. My Braai Spice and Gourmet chicken spice both won gold medals at the Heckers Chilli Festival and my Woester Spice a double bronze. I also blend a one of a kind Tabasco spice true to the real Tabasco lovers.

My planki sauces was developed by myself over the years and unique to my brand adding flavour to any meat wether injecting into a roast. Using in a potjie kos or drizzled over meat.

My aim is to bring flavour to any occasion with my unique range of sauces or spices.
